She is an academic member of the China Finance 40 Group and has worked with the World Bank\, the IMF\, and the China Banking Regulatory Commission\, and is a non-executive board member of the luxury conglomerate Richemont and the global bank Credit Suisse. \n\n\n\nBorn and raised in Beijing\, she attended high school and college in the United States and holds a BA\, MA\, and PhD in economics from Harvard University.
