DESCRIPTION:Register now\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeaker: Renato Cruz de Castro\, De La Salle University\, Manila\, Philippines \n\n\n\nThe lecture will examine the Philippines’ grand strategy\, the Comprehensive Archipelagic Defense Concept (CADC)\, and how it enables the Philippines to develop the necessary military capabilities to respond to a possible Taiwan contingency. In conclusion\, the talk will argue that the AFP’s growing military capabilities have enabled Manila to play a significant role in bolstering the Philippine-U.S. alliance’s integrated deterrence in the face of a possible major armed conflict over Taiwan. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue
