DESCRIPTION:Speakers:\nKazunori Mizushima\, Professor of Cultural Studies\, Osaka Sangyo University\, Japan\nMahan Moalemi\, PhD Candidate in Film and Visual Studies\, Harvard University. \nKazunori Mizushima’s presentation\, From Neo-Tokyo to Neo-China and Beyond: For the Navigation of Futures in East Asian Media Ecologies\, discusses (1) the linkage between Tokyo 2020\, AKIRA\, and Neo-Tokyo\, (2) the transition of the future from Neo-Tokyo to Neo-China\, (3) the intricate relationship between right/left accelerationism and sinofuturism\, and (4) the relationship between AI-capital and post-capitalist inhumanism.
