Chih-Cheng Chang is an Assistant Professor at Kyoto University, Japan, where he researches Japanese and Taiwanese labor and employment law. His project, “A Comparative Study on the Transformation of the ‘On Demand Economy’ to Labor Provisions in Taiwan, the United States, and Japan,” analyses how the ‘on demand economy’ affects employer-employee relations, particularly employment law and qualification for social programs. Dr. Chang received his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Law at State Kyoto University in Japan.
