Hale Eroglu Sager holds a Ph.D. from Harvard’s Committee on Inner Asian and Altaic Studies. Her dissertation is entitled “Islam in Translation: Muslim Reform and Transnational Networks in Modern China, 1908-1957.” Her research focuses on Chinese intellectuals, who played crucial roles in connecting China to other parts of the world.
