Chengyu Fu is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Government at Harvard University. His research explores the relationship between economic development and corruption, with the goal of clarifying its varying patterns across countries and regions and the necessary conditions leading to a reduction of corruption levels. Fu aims to contribute to the resolution of one of the most pervasive and detrimental issues faced by societies worldwide.  

Research Interests: Political Economy of Corruption, Political Economy of Development, Contemporary Chinese Politics.
