Chi-yu Lin is a Fellow of the Postdoctoral Research Abroad Program supported by the National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan. His current project, “Forms of Speculation: Cold War Taiwanese Cultural Production and the Question of Media,” investigates the intertwined relationship of the concept of media and formalism in Cold War Taiwan. Lin received his Ph.D in Taiwan Literature from National Taiwan University in 2021.

Research Interests: Taiwan literature and cinema, contemporary media and literary theories.
