Julia Famularo

Dr. Julia Famularo is a postdoctoral fellow at the Fairbank Center and a visiting scholar at the U.S. Naval War College’s China Maritime Studies Institute. She earned her Ph.D. in modern PRC and Taiwan political history at Georgetown University, and was an International Security Studies Predoctoral Fellow at Yale University. She also earned an M.A. in History from Georgetown University; an M.A. in East Asian Studies from Columbia University; and a B.A. in East Asian Studies and Spanish Literature from Haverford College. Over the course of her academic career, she has won a number of prestigious fellowships, including Boren and Fulbright Fellowships.
