Bio
Kevin Luo (羅巍) is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Toronto, his M.A. in Regional Studies East Asia from Harvard University, and a B.A. (honors) from the University of Chicago. His research interests include state building and political regimes, development and security in East Asia, and Chinese and Taiwanese politics from a historical perspective.
Research interests: State building; political regimes; Chinese and East Asian politics; comparative historical analysis; and archival methods
