Bio:
Chin-Po (Bob) Tseng (曾勤博) is both a practicing lawyer and an independent scholar whose research interests span Chinese outbound investment, comparative investment law, Burma studies, and Southeast Asia studies. He is currently focused on closely monitoring the global supply chain shift and its profound implications for the economic landscapes of China, Southeast Asia, and India.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Chin-Po (Bob) Tseng is an experienced legal practitioner specializing in M&A, investment, and project finance. He is the Managing Partner at TWL Law Group, a prominent law firm operating across East Asia, Southeast Asia, and India. He is qualified in Taiwan and New York State and holds the Legal Professional Qualification of the People’s Republic of China.
Chin-Po (Bob) Tseng served as a Visiting Scholar at the Fairbank Center during the academic year 2021-2022. From 2022 to 2024, he is continuing his Visiting Scholar appointment at the Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.
Chin-Po (Bob) Tseng earned his LL.B. and LL.M. degrees from National Taiwan University and holds an additional LL.M. from Northwestern University School of Law.
