Bio

Gloria Xiong is an Assistant Professor of Government at Colby College. She received her Ph.D. in Government from Cornell University in 2024. Her research specializes in the intersection of international political economy and international security with a focus on economic coercion in great power competition. Her current book project examines the drivers and consequences of China’s economic statecraft. She holds a B.A. with honor in Political Science from Mount Holyoke College.
