Bio
Harriet coordinates the Fairbank Center’s grants and affiliates programs. Originally from the UK, she has a BA in Geography from Cambridge University and a long-standing interest in China since serving as a teacher in Nanjing in the early nineties. She completed her AM in Regional Studies East Asia at Harvard, and then worked in program management roles for several local and international non-profit organizations. Harriet returned to Harvard as staff assistant to the Regional Studies East Asia and Inner Asian and Altaic Studies graduate degree programs. She is delighted to join the Fairbank Center team and contribute to the Center’s mission of supporting and connecting scholars of Chinese studies.
