Bio

Julian Gee is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University. His dissertation project seeks to explain and contextualize Chinese irredentism and its origins by examining discourses of territorial “loss” and “reconquest” during the Six Dynasties, Song and Ming periods.
