Xin Su (苏昕) is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Anthropology at Harvard University. His dissertation project focuses on the lithic and pottery utilization, emphasizing the social organization and economic strategy in the early Bronze Age of China, from 1600 BC to 1100 BC. Su’s archaeological analysis explores whether the examination of stone and pottery materials originating from the Bronze Age may throw light on the question of how resources and society interacted with one another.
