Bio
Lingxuan “Sean” Wu is a Ph.D. student in Economics at Harvard University. His research studies the role of land finance in China’s growth experience, the interaction between financial markets and the macroeconomy, people’s imperfect understanding of the macroeconomy and its implications, and imperfect competition in production networks and platform industries. For a project on land finance, he engages with Chinese scholars and policymakers and aims to formulate a theory to shed light on its mechanism. He received a B.S. in Mathematics and Physics and a B.A. in Economics, both from Tsinghua University.
Research Interests: Macroeconomics, Finance, Behavioral Economics, Industrial Organization.
