Ya-Wen Lei, Professor of Sociology and Faculty Affiliate at the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies, was awarded the 2024 Bronze metal in Axiom Business Book Awards’ International Business / Globalization category for The Gilded Cage: Technology, Development, and State Capitalism in China (Princeton University Press, 2023).
