Bio

Will Sack (邵文林) is a Ph.D. Candidate in the History Department. His dissertation, Rural Remains: Superpowers, Megacities, and 4-H’s Asian Century, explores the impact that the United States Department of Agriculture’s youth club, 4-H, has had on rural life in Hawai‘i, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan. A former long-time resident of Changchun, Sack studies transborder Chinese history, especially that of Hokkien communities.
