Xiaorui Zhou (周曉睿) is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of History at Harvard University. Her research focuses primarily on 20th Century Chinese history. Specifically, she studies women’s experiences, narrations, and memories of the Second Sino-Japanese War through the prisms of displacement, labor, and sexual violence.
