
Yi Zhang (張怡) is a Ph.D. Candidate in the EALC Department at Harvard University. Her research explores the intersections of literature, visual and material culture, and media history in the pre-modern world. Her dissertation examines how merchants transformed the cultural landscape of 16th and 17th Century China through writing, collecting, crafting, and other creative practices.
