Biography
Kaiyuan Wang is a Fairbank Center Associate. He is the Executive Director of University Forum, a Board Member of the JFK Library Foundation, Member of the New York Economic Club and the 1640 Society, founder of Governance Institute at Cambridge, MA. His research interests include theories of the state and comparative study of state governance. Between 2013 and 2017, Kaiyuan was a visiting scholar at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, Harvard Kennedy School Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation, and Harvard Law school East Asian Legal Studies Center. He was also a senior fellow at Tsinghua University Law School Institute of Philosophy of Law and Politics (2016 – 2019) and research fellow at Peking University Institute of State Governance Studies (2017 – 2021).
