Wendy Wan-ting Wang (王琬葶) holds a Ph.D. in East Asian Languages and Cultures from the University of California, Berkeley. She is interested in how media and technology entangle with human bodies and environmental relations across the Chinese language and imperial Japanese cultures. During her fellowship, Wang plans to continue her research on Taiwan’s Indigenous people, examining how technological mediation reshapes imaginations of kinship as extending beyond bloodlines and reproductivity, engaging with Indigenous, eco-feminist, queer, and disability studies.
