Wei-An Tsai (蔡惟安) is an S.J.D. Candidate at Harvard Law School. Her research examines the history of media governance in Taiwan and the challenges it faces in the age of disinformation and propaganda. Her dissertation proposes a media governance paradigm that safeguards democratic discussion and resists authoritarian influence. Prior to Harvard, she served as a legal advisor to a Minister of Taiwan, working on issues related to national security, communications and social media policy, and judicial reform.
