Part of the Digital China Initiative Workshop Series

As an introductory session for a series of workshops on digital tools and methods in China studies, this first session will be an open discussion on the nature of data, existing projects and research examples, exploratory exercises of sample DH tools, and debates on the advantages and disadvantages of using digital methods in areas pertaining the research topics of the participants.
