Yuan Zhang is Assistant Professor in the School of International Education at China Women’s University. Her project, “The Construction of Masculinity in the Chinese Family,” analyzes the evolving discursive construction of Chinese masculinities, both historically and within contemporary Chinese social, familial contexts and practices from an interdisciplinary perspective.
